Las
Trampas Lake Hike - July 15th 2006

 Las Trampas Lake - 11,400 ft. This was another great year for our annual hike. We had planned on hiking Truchas Peak this year, but the road was closed due to some liability issues. So off we went in search of another option, which turned out to be just as great. We experienced the mountain streams, meadows, and lush vegetation all along the trail. A couple of us even dipped in the water once we arrived at the lakes for lunch. All in all we had a great hike. Next year? Maybe somewhere new again. |
